 Mary Arakelian is the current President of the Sacramento Floral Arrangers Guild and a well-known gifted teacher, arranger and judge.

She moved to California recently from the east coast and brings impressive credentials with her.  She has been an active life-long member of garden clubs and floral arranging societies, a District Director (her mother and sister were DD's as well!), an extremely talented and prize-winning gardener, floral arranger, and civic leader as well as being an indefatigable volunteer.  She has been a featured guest speaker and arranger at countless garden clubs and civic events, across the country.

At our February 18th, 2010 District Meeting, Mary will share with us her creativity and how she has volunteered to chair a three-year "Flower Show School" through National Garden Clubs and CGCI for our Sacramento River Valley District.  It is a challenging and exciting project that will teach more of our members the joys of showing their creations, and we'll learn from the best!
