April 10th, 2012 Tuesday - SRVD Board Meeting, Arden Dimick Library, Sacramento

April 17-19, 2012 Tues - Thurs. - FLOWER SHOW SCHOOL, Course IV, Shepard Garden Center

May 15, 2012, Tuesday - SRVD GENERAL MEMBERSHIP meeting at SGAC

June 4-7, 2012, Mon-Wed - CGCI Annual Convention will be held in Sacramento.   (Go to www.californiagardenclubs.org for more info)  Our district is hosting this convention and we need your help!  Those of you who went last year remember how much fun it is!   Hosts:  Sacramento River Valley District  Chair:  Ron Byrd.   Arden Fair Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Sacramento, CA
 

	Director Judy Smith welcomes speaker Mary Arakelian of the Sacramento Floral Design Guild as Gary Miller of the Woodlake Garden Club looks on at our February meeting. Mary spoke to us about our upcoming opportunity to attend a  Flower Show School in our area.
Donn Reiners talked about the endless possibilities of cooking with geraniums!

Our first District Meeting of the year was held on October 15th.  Our topic "Urban Horticulture "with Missy Borel of the California Center for Urban Horticulture.

The Luncheon on October 15th, 2009, was provided by  Pioneer Garden Club       Table Decor furnished by Gardeners of the Grove and Elk Grove Garden Club Hostesses will be from River Valley Garden Club		Plant Sale organized by Arden Park Garden Club, Davis Flower Arrangers and CA Center for Urban  Horticulture Raffle hosted by Carmichael Geranium Society and Evergreen Garden Club
